“Two hundred and thirty-four years ago, the Founders issued a Declaration of Independence proclaiming our unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” said Congressman Price. “Their dedication to liberty and limited government, as eventually enshrined in The Constitution, gave rise to the United States as a land of limitless opportunity. Today, we have an obligation to safeguard these ideals and pass them along to future generations. And as Americans gather together to celebrate the birth of our nation, we must also remember the brave men and women of our military who paid for our freedoms with their lives and those who continue to stand on the front lines. May every American enjoy a safe and happy Independence Day.”
