Congressman Tom Price (R-GA) issued the following statement in celebration of Presidents’ Day.

“Perhaps more than any other figures in American history, Presidents Washington and Lincoln personified and preserved the character of our nation,” said Congressman Price. “It is fitting that we as Americans pause today to honor their legacies, as well as other great American leaders. Today, we also celebrate the freedom and founding principles that make us unique among nations. Our constitutionally limited government, based on the understanding that power comes from the people, is one of America’s greatest national treasures. And the entrepreneurial spirit of our people is America’s most wondrous renewable resource. As we seek to reinvigorate the private sector and guard against government overreach, we would do well to remember the principles that have guided us to success since the days of Lincoln and Washington.”
