Congressman Tom Price (R-GA) issued the following statement in support of A Roadmap for America’s Future, legislation introduced today by Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI).

“Exploding entitlement programs, non-stop spending, and a stifling tax burden threaten to destroy our future,” said Congressman Price. “Over the past year, Americans have come to realize that the Democrats’ liberal agenda is only taking us further down the road to ruin. Their current policies are compounding an already precarious situation with higher taxes, trillions more in debt, and a dangerous expansion of entitlement spending. Conservatives have a better vision for our nation.

“Halting America’s slide into bankruptcy and economic stagnation will require bold solutions like Rep. Ryan’s Roadmap for America’s Future. The Roadmap uses common sense reforms to improve our health care system and bring Social Security and Medicare into the 21st Century, thus preserving them for the future.
