Congressman Tom Price (R-GA) issued the following statement regarding the “Initiatives for Middle Class Families” announced today by the Obama administration.

“These proposals do absolutely nothing to promote job creation, the number one priority for the American people,” said Congressman Price. “The administration’s fanfare for such an unimpressive set of initiatives proves they still don’t get it. Americans want real solutions to combat double-digit unemployment, and every day it gets more and more obvious that Washington Democrats don’t have any. It seems that massive government spending is the only option in their economic playbook. The right play call is to let Americans keep more of their hard-earned money while ensuring their savings aren’t decimated by this exploding national debt.”
