Congressman Tom Price (R-GA) issued the following statement on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

“Few Americans have provided as much opportunity and advancement for his nation and fellow citizens as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a great son of Georgia,” said Congressman Price. “Dr. King’s legacy of peaceful transformation is one of America’s greatest stories and one we must never allow future generations to forget. Endearing himself to the rights granted him by his maker and our Constitution, Dr. King moved the minds of men to a better place, beyond prejudice and violence. We must all be grateful for his sacrifice that has allowed America to be a beacon of freedom for the world.”
