Congressman Tom Price (R-GA) issued the following statement in recognition of Memorial Day.

“On this Memorial Day, we are reminded of how precious are our freedoms and how blessed we are to live in the greatest nation the world has ever known,” said Congressman Price. “Since a handful of patriots stood up in the face of tyranny over 230 years ago and fought to establish a nation dedicated to the principles of individual liberty, millions of our fellow countrymen have stood proudly to preserve and protect that liberty. Far too many have paid the ultimate sacrifice, and so we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives so that America would remain a free and prosperous nation. We say a special thanks to their families who have borne such tragic loss. And to our military and their families who are serving today, the cause of liberty must always be defended and America is proud and grateful that so many brave men and women continue to answer their nation’s call to service.”
