Veterans History Project

The Veterans History Project of the American Folklife Center was created in 2000 to preserve, and make accessible the personal accounts of American war veterans so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand the realities of war. It is our hope, that through the accounts of those that have served our great nation, we will never forget the many that have perished to give us the freedom and liberties we all cherish.
