Price Honored With ‘Tax Fighter Award’
Congressman Tom Price (R-GA) has been awarded the ‘Tax Fighter Award’ by The National Tax Limitation Committee (NTLC) for the 111th Congress. The NTLC designation is in recognition of Congressman Price’s fight against job-killing policies like ObamaCare, a cap-and-tax regime, and out-of-control Washington spending as well as his support for protecting American families and job creators from tax increases.
“Tom Price has been a major asset to taxpayers across America during his congressional service, having earned the Tax Fighter Award consistently in every session of Congress,” said NTLC President Lewis K. Uhler. “Tom Price has had the courage to challenge the orthodoxy of Washington spending and earmarks.”
“It is always an honor to be recognized by the National Tax Limitation Committee – a group that has worked tirelessly to protect the interest of hard working families.” said Rep. Price. “At a time when tax dollars are being spent in a reckless manner on bailouts and a failed liberal agenda, it is more important than ever that we fight to keep taxes low and ensure American families and businesses keep more of their hard-earned money. Bureaucrats in Washington may think they know best how to spend our nation’s wealth, but American families understand that our innovators and entrepreneurs are the true engine of economic growth and prosperity. We must work to end the federal government’s sense of entitlement to other people’s money so that job creators have the resources they need to get our economy back on track.”
