U.S. Passport Service

U.S. Passport Service

Before visiting a foreign country, you should ensure that all your travel concerns are addressed. Here are a few of the most common questions my office receives that deal with passports:

How can I renew my existing passport?

I can't wait for the normal six week processing time for my application Can I request an expedite?

PASSPORTS & OVERSEAS ADOPTIONS
To receive information concerning passports or overseas adoptions visit www.travel.state.gov.  At this site, you can apply for a passport or replace a lost or stolen passport as well as check the status of your passport application.  It also provides information on overseas adoptions.

Because of the constitutional separation of powers, judicial matters (matters before the courts) do not fall under my jurisdiction as a member of Congress, therefore, my office is unable to assist any issue relating to deportation proceedings or any matter before immigration courts

If you have been unable to resolve your problem with Passports or Overseas Adoptions, after accessing the above resources, my office can assist you.
