My office offers an internship program that provides students the opportunity to experience Washington DC and be a part of the working of the House of Representatives. Interns can expect to spend part of their time assisting my staff with routine administrative duties. Interns will also have the opportunity to handle more extensive activities, as well as encouraged to attend classes, luncheons, tour historic locations and experience the excitement of life on the Hill.
Internships are offered in the Spring, Fall, Winter and Summer sessions. Internship requirements are:
o Must be at least 21 years old.
o Be at least a junior at a university in good academic standing with an academic emphasis on political science, government, international relations or other similar areas of study.
o Be able to provide your own transportation and housing.
