Message from the OCC Ombudsman

As the Ombudsman for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), I welcome you to the OCC’s Helpwithmybank.gov web site. This internet site reinforces the importance of fair and honest treatment for bank customers. We designed the site to provide answers and solutions for customers of national banks. It covers topics about national banks such as credit cards, checking accounts, overdraft fees, mortgages and credit reports. The site also advises consumers on how to file a complaint if they are not satisfied with a resolution from a national bank.

For the convenience of the national bank customer, the OCC recently launched the new Online Customer Complaint Form. Customers of national banks can now complete and submit the Customer Complaint Form electronically. Your complaint will be processed securely and you will receive immediate acknowledgment of receipt of your information.
