Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA-04) released the following statement on the death of former Virginia Congressman Owen Pickett:

“Virginia lost a true patriot in former Congressman Owen Pickett. He was a dedicated member of Virginia's General Assembly, a champion for our military and military families, a strong voice for the Hampton Roads region in Congress, and a true public servant to the entire Commonwealth of Virginia. He will be missed by those he represented and all of those who worked with him. Our deepest sympathies are with his family and friends as they mourn this loss.”
