In times of economic stress, families throughout the 9th district do what families do everywhere; look for ways to save money, cut expenses and do more with less. This is commonsense budgeting and you should expect nothing less from your government.
Unfortunately, the Democrats in control of Congress aren't listening. The Democrats' $3.6 trillion budget taxes too much, spends too much, and borrows too much and in the process, mortgages our children's futures to fund a growing activist government.
The answer to how we can restore our economic growth will not be found in runaway federal spending, a massive energy tax on all Americans and the threat of a middle class tax hike to pay for government run rationed healthcare.
