MASTERWORKS CHORALE RECEIVES ARTS GRANT
Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that Masterworks Chorale, Inc., located in Belleville, has received a $10,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The funds will be used to support a performance of John Rutter's "Requiem." Guest soloists will augment the Chorale.
"Events such as this add a great deal to our communities," said Costello. "The arts also help develop good students and are an important part of a well-rounded education."
