U.S. CONGRESSMAN JERRY COSTELLO TO HOLD PUBLIC FORUMS ON NEW MEDICARE PRESCRIPTION DRUG PROGRAM
Belleville/Granite City, IL -U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) will be holding two public forums in the metro-east with representatives from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services to explain the details of the new Medicare Prescription Drug Program.
The forums will be held on Friday, November 18, 2005. The first forum is at 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Granite City Township Senior Center located at 2060 Delmar Ave in Granite City. The second forum is from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and will be held at the PSOP Building at 201 N Church Street, Belleville, Illinois.
The purpose of the forums will be to discuss the new Prescription Drug Benefit that is being offered by Medicare. Enrollment in the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit begins on November 15th and will continue through May 15th, 2006. All are invited to attend.
