BELLEVILLE SHOE MANUFACTURING COMPANY
RECEIVES DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY CONTRACT
Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Belleville Shoe Manufacturing Company has been awarded a $7,287,589.20 contract by the Defense Logistics Agency. The company will produce boots for the Army, Air Force and Marine Corps.
"The Belleville Shoe Manufacturing Company has been providing footwear for the U.S. military since World War I, and it continues to make a major contribution to troop readiness" said Costello. "I will continue to work to make sure that our troops have the resources they need."
