COSTELLO ANNOUNCES HHS GRANT FOR SIUC
Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) has been awarded a $327,400 grant from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The funds will be used for a research project entitled "Prolactin Feedback to Hypothalamic Dopaminergic Neurons."
"SIUC continues to be a leader in many research fields and its national reputation is growing," Costello said. "I will continue to work to make sure that scientific research remains a priority of the federal budget."
