Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, located in Marion, has been awarded a $11,838,641.25 contract by the U.S. Army. The contract is for the procurement of 777,433 each of cartridge 30mm target practice, M788 and 40,920 each of cartridge 30mm Dummy, M848.
"This is important work that supports our armed services and the local economy," said Costello. "I will continue to work to ensure that our troops have the resources they need."
