SOUTHERN SEVEN HEALTH DEPARTMENT RECEIVES HEAD START GRANT
Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Southern Seven Health Department, located in Ullin, has been awarded a $3,091,201 Head Start grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The money will be used for the full year, part day training and technical assistance program.
"This funding will help continue a tremendous local program," Costello said. "Early schooling is a key to future success in school and a great investment. I will continue to work to provide sound learning environments for all children."
