Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, located in Marion, has been awarded a $20,575,271.72 contract by the U.S. Army. The contract is for the procurement of 3,459,376 each cartridge 20mm PGU-27A/B TP BP and 350,137 each cartridge 20mm PGU-27A/B-30A/B TP.
"This project is critical to our national defense and will help sustain the local and national economies," said Costello. "I will continue to work to ensure that sufficient resources are available for the men and women of our Armed Forces."
