If a large government institution can achieve massive reductions in its carbon footprint, then states can reduce their carbon emissions as well. Every person that we can get to change a few of their habits - that's a win.

A California native, Joshua became interested in the federal government's role in environmental issues, and specifically climate change, after attending a conference on the issue in 2005. As an intern with Senator Barbara Boxer, the chairwoman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, Joshua continued to pursue these issues before becoming a member of the Green the Capitol Office.
