Mexico City - Secretary Napolitano visited Mexico City to meet with her international counterparts and reiterate the Obama administration's ongoing commitment to combating terrorism and other transnational crimes - signing an agreement to facilitate secure, legitimate travel as part the United States' and Mexico's continued efforts to enhance the security of both nations.

Washington, D.C. - Secretary Napolitano announced that 100 percent of passengers on flights within or bound for the United States are now being checked against government watchlists - fulfilling a key 9/11 Commission recommendation a month ahead of schedule. The TSA reached 100 percent watch list matching for all domestic airlines on June 22.

Panama City - Secretary Janet Napolitano today visited Panama City to meet with her international counterparts and reiterate the Obama administration's strong commitment to fighting terrorism and other threats in collaboration with our partners around the globe — signing a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the United States and Panama that will enhance information sharing and help secure the international aviation system against terrorism and international crime.
