Washington, DC -Congresswoman Slaughter is proud to announce that the House will consider next week transportation legislation which will deliver $25 million dollars in critical transportation funding to New York's 28th Congressional District.
Just this morning, the House Transportation Committee completed their mark-up on the Transportation Authorization Bill (TEA-LU). An amendment was attached which provides funding for Member projects, including $25 Million in transportation development projects for New York's 28th District.
A detailed summary of the projects in the 28th District is included below.
This legislation is expected to be considered on the House floor next week, and in her new role as Ranking Member of the House Rules Committee, Congresswoman Slaughter will be managing the floor debate on the rule for this critical legislation.
This legislation is expected to pass both the House and Senate
