The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) will receive $1 billion from the Recovery Act.  These funds will go towards 6DDAD3FA-F215-4776-87F1-9D2F2F87F7ED_Webexpanding research in science, aeronautics, science, and exploration.

NASA Programs Receiving Funding

Cross-Agency Support (CAS):  $50 million

Description: These funds will go "to restore NASA-owned facilities damaged from hurricanes and other natural disasters occurring during calendar year 2008. Read more about the initial plan approved by the Office of Management and Budget for the Johnson Space Center (JSC) to repair facilities that were damaged during Hurricane Ike in September 2008."
