Congressman Tom Petri offers the following comment on the passing of President Reagan:

"We all knew that President Reagan was ill, but it's still a shock when a great man, a great patriot, and a great historical figure passes on. The impact of his policies, his optimistic spirit, and his belief in America will be with us for a long time to come."
