USDA Makes Grants, Loans to Princeton
WASHINGTON – Congressman Tom Petri reports that the U.S. Agriculture Department has approved a grant of $1,335,000 and a loan of $411,000 to the City of Princeton to replace sewer lines and to repair excessive leaks in the system.
Princeton is also receiving a $100,000 grant and a
$1,742,500 loan from the USDA to replace old and failing water
supply lines. "The current water supply system has problems with
water pressure for residential and commercial users, and this
also affects the ability to put out fires," Petri said.
