Princeton Ambulance Service to Receive Federal Grant
WASHINGTON -- Congressman Tom Petri reports that the Princeton Ambulance Service will receive a $10,260 grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The funds will be used to purchase protective gear for emergency medical technicians, such as fire-retardant clothes and helmets.
"We ask a lot more of fire departments and rescue services than we used to," said Petri.
"Big cities and small villages all require modern, professional equipment. I want to congratulate
the Princeton Ambulance Service for succeeding with its grant application to this highly
competitive program."
