Dodge County Housing Authority Gets Rural Development Loan

WASHINGTON -- Representative Tom Petri reports that the Dodge County Housing Authority will receive an $850,000 Rural Rental Housing loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The loan will run for 30 years at 5.375 percent interest.

"The funds will be used to rehabilitate 38 units in Theresa, Ashippun and Reeseville designated for elderly, handicapped or disabled people," Petri said. "The apartments were originally built in 1979, and the renovations will make them good for another 25 years."
