Fond du Lac's Advocap Receives
$504,802 Grant for Head Start
WASHINGTON -- Representative Tom Petri reports that Advocap, Inc., of Fond du Lac has been awarded a $504,802 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to continue its Head Start full year, part day handicapped training and technical assistance program.
"As a longtime advocate of Head Start, I'm glad to see continued support for this program which serves hundreds of kids in Fond du Lac and Green Lake Counties," said Petri, who is Vice Chairman of the Committee on Education and the Workforce which oversees Head Start.
Advocap Executive Director Michael S. Bonertz said of the
program, "We're just real glad to be able to run it for another
year."
