In Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Winnebago Counties

WASHINGTON -- Congressman Tom Petri reports that Advocap, Inc. in Fond du Lac has received three grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. A $108,768 grant will support Fond du Lac-based housing and transitional services for up to 18 months for people who need intensive help dealing with employment, family, behavioral and mental health issues.

A $197,658 grant will support long-term case management to help needy Fond du Lac County residents find employment and permanent housing while a $158,584 grant will provide the same services for needy residents in Green Lake and Winnebago Counties.

"These grants come during the ideal season while reminding us to consider the needs of the less fortunate throughout the year," Petri said.
