Two Rivers Fire Department to Receive Federal Grant

Congressman Tom Petri reports that the Two Rivers Fire Department will receive a $28,975 grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).  The funds will be used to improve firehouse exhaust ventilation and to purchase training materials.

"We ask a lot more of fire departments than we used to," said Petri.  "Big cities and small villages all require modern, professional equipment.  I want to congratulate the Two Rivers Fire Department for succeeding with its grant application to this highly competitive program," Petri said.
