Rep. Petri on Town Meetings

"Town meetings are an opportunity to express your opinion on the issues of the day, hear what your neighbors have to say, ask questions and respond to the comments that are made.

"I'm always very interested in listening to the comments of those who come to town meetings.  Sometimes we get a good crowd, sometimes a small crowd, but always an interesting discussion.

"I'm sure that, because of the state of the economy, what's going on with the economy, the unemployment situation and the job situation will be very much on people's minds.  And, of course, health care is something that is before the Congress and country, and I expect there will be a lot of comments pro and con on different aspects of the health care plans."
