Petri Hoping for an Obama Health Care Re-Boot Wednesday Night

What is Rep. Tom Petri looking for from President Barack Obama Wednesday night when the President is scheduled to address Congress on health care?

"I'm hoping the President re-boots the health care discussion in a more constructive direction," Petri said.

"I think there is a consensus in the country that the system is not perfect.  Costs have been rising much too fast and some people have fallen through the cracks.  I am hoping that we hear a calm voice that's urging us to concentrate on improvements in the system rather than picking the whole thing up by the roots and starting over again," he said.
