Dingell Comments on Digital Television Transition Vote

Washington, DC - Congressman John D. Dingell (D-MI15) made the following comments after today’s House vote on legislation to delay the nation’s digital TV transition.

“Today’s vote should not stop us from working on a solution to help the 1.5 million households that are waiting for a converter box coupon. The previous administration has left us with a mess, but we can still do something about it. There is still time for a solution and the American people continue to look to us to make the DTV transition as smooth as possible.”
