BRADY APPLAUDS APPOINTMENT OF DAN STRODEL

AS INTERIM CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

Washington, DC (July 14, 2010): House Administration Chairman Robert A. Brady applauded Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s appointment of Dan Strodel as interim Chief Administrative Officer today.

“Dan Strodel has been a valued member of my Committee staff for the past 18 months and brings more than 25 years of Capitol Hill experience to the position of interim CAO,” said Chairman Brady.

“Dan’s expertise extends to virtually every area of House operations and, during his career, he has been a highly regarded staffer in three of the House Officer organizations,” said Brady. “He has senior management and leadership experience including human resources and financial management and has fostered strong positive relationships with Members and staff on both sides of the aisle. Dan will continue to emphasize our commitment to greening and sustainability, accountability, transparency and cybersecurity initiatives within the House.”

In addition to his tremendous management skills, Dan maintains a strong connection to and appreciation for the people that make the House work.”

“Dan is an asset to this great institution and is highly respected by individuals at all levels of the House. While I am sorry to lose him at the Committee, I look forward to working with him as the Committee continues its oversight of the Office of the CAO.”
