Washington, D.C.: Interns are involved with legislative research projects, attending Congressional hearings and briefings, and conducting tours of the U.S. Capitol. You will collaborate with staff members on upcoming legislation, and follow issues important to the Utahns. Interns are expected to help with daily office tasks as well, however the focus of this internship is to learn about the inner workings of a busy Capitol Hill office.

Salt Lake City: District office interns assist in community outreach planning, attend meetings throughout the city, and conduct directed research. Interns also help the office manager, caseworkers, and press secretary with special projects. The primary focus of this internship is to learn firsthand about local Congressional offices, their functions, and their importance in addressing constituent concerns.

If you would like to be considered for an internship in one of my offices, you may indicate your interest by filling out the following form and someone from our office will follow up with you.
