The Regional Response Team Network, lead by the Western Wayne County Hazardous Material Response Team, is asking for your support in the acquisition of seventeen Ahura FirstDefender RM. These devices will be deployed on all hazardous material call-outs, aiding in the containment and mitigation of potential and actual releases whether by natural causes, enemy attack, sabotage or hostile action. The FirstDefender RM will provide support for rescuers, regional government agencies, private sector responders, civilians and properties in distress.  Most importantly, this unit will assist the 17 RRTN’s to satisfy their commitment to the Homeland Security Mission and expanding regional collaboration.
