Rebuilding our economy is the top priority for this Congress, and we are working with the Administration to address our nation’s economic crisis. The goal of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which was enacted in the first month of President Obama's term, is to jumpstart our economy, create and save more than three million jobs, give 95% of American workers a tax cut, and begin to rebuild America's road, rail, and water infrastructure.
