WASHINGTON (April 19, 2006)
Congressman Ben Chandler will be at the Holiday Inn in Frankfort on Thursday, April 20th at 7:00 PM to address the Kentucky Association for Economic
Development.
Chandler’s remarks will focus on the
global economy and the rise of China as a new contender in the world market.
“As the world becomes increasingly
smaller, America faces a real risk of losing its reign as the dominant force in a global economy driven by innovation,” said Congressman Chandler. We are being challenged on many levels—research and development, education, energy and trade.”
Congressman Chandler will also discuss federal policies that he believes are not
preparing the future generations of America.
