Tim Murphy
In January 2009 Congressman Tim Murphy began serving his fourth term in Congress representing the 18th District of Pennsylvania...Dan Boren
Inspired to politics as a youth, Dan Boren has built an impressive record for himself as a strong advocate for responsible government...The Congressional Natural Gas Caucus is a bipartisan group of Members dedicated to championing the use of clean, plentiful, domestic natural gas. We are committed to informing and educating Members of Congress, and the American people about this clean-burning domestic fuel. By promoting the use of natural gas we believe America will benefit from cleaner modes of transportation and energy generation, creating a cleaner environment and millions of new American jobs. We are focused on discovering environmentally-friendly ways to produce natural gas and explore the ways natural gas can help meet our country’s energy needs while leading us towards an independent energy future.
The primary goals of the Caucus are:
1. The promotion of responsible exploration and development of natural gas;
2. Pushing legislation and a regulatory environment that encourages the production, transmission, distribution, and use of natural gas;
3. Exploring responsible ways to expand the use of natural gas – Chemical, manufacturing, transportation, and energy as it fits in a portfolio of energy resources;
4. And matching supply and demand to create a secure and stable environment for producers and users.
