Constituent Day 2010

Washington D.C. – Representative Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) welcomed residents of the Seventh Congressional District to Capitol Hill in April for Constituent Day 2010 in Washington, D.C. Rep. Markey met with hundreds of local residents, took them on a tour of the floor of the House of Representatives, discussed the history of the Capitol, current events and responded to a wide range of questions on issues facing the Commonwealth and the nation.

Meeting with my constituents is one of the most important aspects of my job and I am thrilled so many came down to Washington to visit the Capitol and take place in this year’s Constituent Day,” said Markey.
