Surface Transportation Legislation High Priority Projects 

  • At the request of the City of Oxnard and the Ventura County Transportation Commission: $5 million to Reconstruct interchange at Rice Avenue/Santa Clara Avenue and U.S. Highway 101; realign Ventura Blvd in the City of Oxnard, California
     
  • At the request of the San Luis Obispo Council of Governments: $3 million to Acquire right-of-way and construct interchange improvements at U.S. Highway 101 and Los Osos Valley Road Interchange in San Luis Obispo, California
     
  • At the request of the San Luis Obispo Council of Governments: $800,000 to Construct bicycle and pedestrian path from San Luis Obispo to Avila Beach in San Luis Obispo County, California
     
  • At the request of the San Luis Obispo Council of Governments: $450,000 to Design and construct streetscape improvements on Grand Avenue in Grover Beach, California
     
  • At the request of San Luis Obispo County: $3 million to Construct Willow Road Interchange at U.S. Highway 101 in Nipomo, California
     
  • At the request of the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments: $2.8 million to Replace buses for the Clean Air Express transit service in Santa Barbara County, California
     
  • At the request of the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments: $1.12 million to Develop a Corridor System Management Plan and provide engineering support to widen the Santa Maria River Bridge on U.S. Highway 101 between Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County
     
  • At the request of Santa Barbara County: $1.4 million to Plan, design, engineer, conduct environmental review, acquire right-of-way, and construct roadway, and traffic improvements in Summerland, California
     
  • At the request of Santa Barbara County: $2.32 million to Plan, design, engineer, conduct environmental review and mitigation, acquire right-of-way, and construct replacement/rehabilitation of summer crossings and bridge along Refugio Road north of U.S. Highway 101 in Santa Barbara County, California
  • At the request of the city of Santa Barbara: $3 million to Plan, design and conduct environmental review for interchange improvements between Las Positas Road and Mission Street on U.S. Highway 101 in Santa Barbara, California
  • At the request of the City of Santa Maria: $4 million to Plan, design and construct interchange improvements at U.S. Highway 101/Betteravia Road in the City of Santa Maria, California
  • At the request of the Ventura County Transportation Commission: $1 million for Planning, research and design for the development and installation of a Positive Train Control system on the Metrolink commuter rail network throughout Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside and Ventura counties
  • At the request of the Ventura County Transportation Commission: $3 million to Design, engineer, and conduct environmental review for a new Maintenance and Operations Facility for Gold Coast Transit in Ventura County, California.

Water Resources Development Act Project Requests

  • At the request of the Ventura County Watershed Protection District: amend the current authorization for the Matilija Dam Ecosystem Restoration Project to provide credit for design and construction work carried out by the Ventura County Watershed Protection District to and after the date of the Project Partnership Agreement
  • At the request of the Ventura County Watershed Protection District: amend the current authorization for the Matilija Dam Ecosystem Restoration Project to allow for the project’s desilting basin component be cost shared 65 percent federal and 35 percent non-federal
  • At the request of the Ventura County Watershed Protection District: amend the current authorization for the Ventura River Levee to reevaluate the existing project focusing on flood risk reduction and ecosystem restoration and implement improvements to maintain the Levee’s originally designed levels of flood protection; and ensure the Levee can be certified to provide 100-year flood protection
  • At the request of the Cambria Community Services District: increase the current Federal authorization for the Cambria Seawater Desalination facility project from $10.3 million to $17.325 million
  • At the request of the Nipomo Community Services District: Authorize $10 million for construction of water related infrastructure in Nipomo to avoid depletion of the Community Services District’s groundwater basin and prevent sea water intrusion
  • At the request of the City of Pismo Beach: Authorize $7.5 million to study, design and construct water related infrastructure in the City of Pismo Beach to ensure protection of its groundwater basin
  • At the request of the Port San Luis Harbor District: Authorize the establishment of a Federal navigation channel at Port San Luis Harbor to be maintained by the Federal government at 100 percent Federal cost
