Internships


If you are interested in serving as an intern in the Office of Congressman Pete Sessions, please email Leigh.Young@mail.house.gov to receive an internship application. Inquire within for application deadlines and other requirements.

Washington, D.C.
Interns in the Congressman's Washington, D.C. office will have an opportunity to learn about the legislative process and the federal government by working with the legislative and communications staff members.

Dallas District Office
By assisting the Congressman’s district staff, interns have the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about how a Congressional office provides constituent services and interacts with the community.

College students may be able to receive academic credit for their internship. Please check with your college or university for more details.

The Congressman Pete Sessions Leadership and Growth Program
The Pete Sessions Leadership and Growth Program (PSLGP) is a week-long program in Washington, DC for high school students who are 16 or older. If you are interested in participating in the Summer 2011 program, please contact Torrie Miller at 202.225.2231 or Torrie.Miller@mail.house.gov with your contact information, and you will be added to our mailing list to receive information in January 2011.
