Congress will soon revisit No Child Left Behind (NCLB), the federal law that regulates K-12 education. In 2001, I was one of only 41 representatives to vote against the bill since it failed to provide the flexibility in education that children, parents and teachers need.

I encourage you to send me your thoughts, ideas and solutions to reform our K-12 education system. As a member of the House Education and Labor Committee, I will submit your comments to the committee to ensure that policymakers understand the issues faced by educators, parents and taxpayers in Michigan.
