Meet My Team




Jane Campbell
Chief of Staff

Jane Campbell joins Senator Landrieu’s team as Chief of Staff after serving as Managing Director of Public Sector Solutions at Colliers Ostendorf Morris since July 2006. In that capacity, Campbell negotiated public/private partnerships for corporate and local government entities to encourage economic development.

Campbell also has had an extensive career in public service. From 2002 to 2006, Campbell was the Mayor of Cleveland, Ohio, where she restored fiscal stability, without tax increases, to a city of about a half million residents. During her tenure as Mayor, Campbell served as Vice President of the Democratic Mayors Caucus (2004-2005) and a Member of the Democratic National Committee (2004-2005).  She has also represented 1.4 million people as a County Commissioner in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, from 1997 to 2002, and before that was elected six times to the Ohio State House of Representatives.

Tanner A. Johnson
Legislative Director

Tanner A. Johnson is a Baton Rouge native and a graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University.  He serves as Senator Landrieu’s Legislative Director and as her principal policy advisor on coastal protection and restoration issues.  In 2009, Tanner rejoined the Landrieu team as Projects Director after most recently serving as the Legislative Director for U.S. Representative Donald J. Cazayoux, Jr., D-LA. He previously served in the Landrieu office from 2001 to 2005, first as an aide on the projects team and later as a Legislative Assistant specializing in coastal, energy and agricultural issues. He later served as a Staff Attorney for the Louisiana State Senate and as the Federal and State Legislative Liaison for the Louisiana Governor’s Office of Coastal Activities under Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco, D-LA.  Tanner is an attorney admitted to practice in Louisiana, as well as the United States Supreme Court.

Katie Elder
Assistant to Legislative Director

Katie Elder joined Senator Landrieu’s staff in July 2009. Previously, she worked at a small defense consulting firm and interned for the Department of State and Senator Conrad (D-ND). She is a 2008 graduate of Georgetown University and holds a B.S. in Culture and Politics. Katie has lived all over the world, but her family hails from Shreveport, LA.

Elizabeth Leoty Craddock
Legislative Counsel

A native of Delhi, Louisiana, Elizabeth (Liz) joined Senator Landrieu's office in 2006.  Currently, she handles the Senator’s energy, environmental, agricultural and trade issues, in addition to serving as the ethics adviser for the office. Prior to serving in Senator Landrieu's office, Elizabeth worked for U.S. Congresswoman Karen Thurman, D-Dunnellon, and Congressman Dale Kildee, D-Flint. Elizabeth received her B.A. in Political Science and B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Florida, and earned her J.D. from Tulane University Law School. She is a member of the DC bar.

Cynthia Jones
Legislative Assistant

Cynthia Jones joined Senator Landrieu's team in April 2008 as a special assistant for Military Quality of Life Issues. Married for 23 years to a career Army Officer and widowed with two young children in 2004, Cynthia has first-hand experience in dealing with the daily quality of life issues of our armed forces and their families. In January 2009 Cynthia became the legislative assistant for Defense, Veterans Affairs and Foreign Affairs. Prior to joining the Landrieu team Cynthia worked in education. She has a B.S. in Reading Education.

Angélique Roché
Legislative Aide

A Port Allen native, Angelique Roche’ joined Senator Landrieu's office in May 2008 and currently handles constituent correspondence related to finance, budget, tax, banking, insurance, labor, judiciary, and immigration issues. Angelique attended Southern University and A & M College in Baton Rouge where she graduated cum laude in Mass Communications Print Journalism. She obtained her J.D. from Southern University Law Center where she graduated cum laude. In addition, she earned her L.L.M in International and Comparative Law from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC.

Tasha Patusky

Legislative Assistant

Tasha Patusky joined Senator Landrieu’s team in April 2010.  She handles issues related to education and child welfare.  Previously, Tasha was the National Public Policy Manager for Citizen Schools, a network of apprenticeship-based afterschool programs.  Prior to that, she taught middle and high school French in Boston and Baltimore.  Tasha is an alumna of Teach For America and the Education Pioneers Fellowship.  She has a B.A. in History and French from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University.

Ross Nodurft
Legislative Correspondent

Ross Nodurft joined Senator Landrieu's team in July 2009 and currently handles constituent correspondence related to military, foreign and veterans affairs. Ross was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Catholic University and his M.A. in International Political Economy and Development from Fordham University

Jessica Stone
Legislative Aide

Jessica joined Senator Landrieu's office in 2009 as the Legislative Correspondent for health care, education and welfare issues. She now serves as the Legislative Aide for health care issues. Prior to serving in Senator Landrieu's office, she interned for Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Senator Bill Nelson. Jessica graduated with honors from Wake Forest University where she received her B.A. in Political Science.

Olivia Philipp
Legislative Correspondent

Olivia Philipp joined Senator Landrieu's team in September 2008 and currently handles constituent correspondence related to environmental, energy, and agricultural issues.  Olivia hails from Mandeville, Louisiana, and is a former intern in Senator Landrieu’s office. She graduated from Bates College with a B.A. in Political Science

Aaron Saunders
Communications Director

Senator Landrieu’s new Communications Director, worked for Senator Ted Stevens, R-Alaska, for more than five years, serving as Communications Director in his Washington office and for the Senate Commerce Committee during Stevens’ tenure as Chairman. In 2008, he served as Communications Director for Stevens’ re-election campaign. Prior to coming to Capitol Hill, Saunders was the Public Relations Manager for the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward, Alaska. He earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University of Ohio and his Master’s in Political Communications from Georgetown University.

Rob Sawicki
Press Secretary

Rob Sawicki, who joined Landrieu’s staff in September 2009, worked for Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT) for nine years, including three years as Lieberman’s Press Secretary. He also served as New Mexico State Press Secretary on Lieberman’s 2004 Presidential campaign. Most recently, he was Senior Director of Communications for the Parkinson’s Action Network. Sawicki is a native of Fairfield, CT, and has a Bachelors Degree in Media Studies form Sacred Heart University.

Matthew Lehner
New Media Coordinator

Matthew Lehner joined Senator Landrieu’s press team as New Media Coordinator in September 2010, after working for Rep. Melissa Bean (D-Ill.).  Previously, he served in Rep. Charlie Melancon's (D-La.) office. He is a native of Bloomington, Ill., and graduated with honors in 2009 from Saint Louis University, where he studied journalism and political science.

Ellie Atkins
Deputy Press Secretary

Ellie Atkins joined Senator Landrieu’s staff in July 2009. Previously, Ellie interned for National Public Radio, Morning Edition and for Representative Berman (D-Ca.). Ellie is from Brookeville, MD and graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University in May 2009 with a degree in Communications Studies.

Jetaine Hart
Communications Assistant / Legislative Correspondent

Jetaine Hart joined Senator Landrieu’s staff in July 2009 after completing a congressional internship in the Senator's office. Jetaine currently works as member of the communicatons team, in addition to handling constiuent correspondence in areas of of Adoptions and Foster care. Jetaine graduated La Sierra University in California with a Bachelor's in Social Work.

Tanner Johnson
Projects Director

Youshea Berry
Projects Assistant

Youshea A. Berry, Esq. joined the Projects Team in Senator Landrieu’s Washington DC office in Spring 2009. She handles both appropriations and policy for the Senator. Ms. Berry earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law where she was a Presidential Scholar. She earned her B.A. with honors from Xavier University of Louisiana. Prior to joining the Senator’s office, Ms. Berry worked in various capacities at small and large law firms in New Orleans, Louisiana; Omaha, Nebraska; Atlanta, Georgia; and the District of Columbia. Throughout her professional career, she has also worked with several policy, government, and nonprofit organizations.

Ryan Lyle
Projects Assistant

Ryan Lyle joined Senator Landrieu’s staff in May 2009. She is a Baton Rouge native and graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Communications. Previously, she interned for Governor Deval Patrick of Massachusetts, the Labour Party in London, England and former U.S. Representative Richard Baker.

Ashley Scott
Projects Assistant

Ashley Scott joined the projects team in Senator Landrieu’s Washington D.C. office, in Fall 2010, after most recently serving as the legislative assistant for Louisiana State Representative Dalton W. Honoré. Previously, she served as Executive Assistant for U.S. Representative Donald J. Cazayoux, Jr., D-LA; worked as a student worker in the Asst. Chief of Staff’s Office during the administration of Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco, D-LA; interned with Checkmate Government Consulting firm; and worked in various capacities with several policy, government, and nonprofit organizations. Ashley was also selected to be the youngest Louisiana State delegate for the 2008 Democratic National Convention. She hails from Shreveport, Louisiana and graduated with honors from Southern University and A&M; College with her B.A. in Journalism and a Master of Public Administration and Public Policy.  She is an active member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Alicia Williams
Office Manager / Executive Assistant

Alicia Williams is originally from Grambling, Louisiana. She is a 1983 graduate of Grambling State University and a life member of the Grambling University National Alumni Association. She also is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Senate Black Legislative Caucus. Before joining Senator Landrieu's Washington staff, she was Deputy Campaign Manager during the 1996 election. Williams also has worked for former U.S. Senator J. Bennett Johnston as staff assistant, systems administrator, projects assistant and projects manager; and for former Lt. Governor Melinda Schwegmann as her executive assistant.

Elizabeth Weiner
Executive Assistant to Senator Landrieu

Elizabeth Weiner joined Senator Landrieu’s DC staff in January of 2009.  She is a New Orleans native and graduated with honors from Louisiana State University with a degree in Public Relations and Political Science.  She was an intern for Senator Landrieu in 2005 and was the Press Assistant for the Senator’s 2008 re-election campaign.

Brinkley Serkedakis
Scheduler

Brinkley Serkedakis joined Senator Landrieu’s staff in July 2010 as the Senator's scheduler.  Prior to joining the Senator’s team, she was the Deputy Campaign Manager for former Georgia Gov. Roy Barnes’ gubernatorial campaign.  Previously, Brinkley served as the Deputy Political Director at the Democratic Governors Association, and worked on child health policy issues at the Children’s Defense Fund.  Brinkley graduated from the University of Alabama magna cum laude in 2005.

Betty Krupa
Assistant Scheduler / Staff Assistant

Betty Krupa became part of Senator Landrieu’s team in May 2009. She is a recent graduate of Stevenson University, formally known as Villa Julie College, with a B.A. in Human Services. She was an intern for Senator DeMint in 2008 and now serves on the National Child Welfare Resource Center for Youth Development Young Adult Network.

Alston Walker
Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff

Alston Walker, a Shreveport native, joined Senator Landrieu's D.C. team in July 2010. Prior to serving in Senator Landrieu's office, Alston worked as an associate for McBee Strategic Consulting. Alston graduated cum laude from Tulane University in 2009 where he majored in Economics and Political Economy.

Linda M. Cox
Mail Coordinator

Linda Cox has more than 30 years experience on Capitol Hill working with computers, mail systems, data management and casework. Before joining Senator Landrieu's team, she worked for now-retired Senator J. James Exon of Nebraska.

Alyson Williams Azodeh
Staff Assistant

Alyson Williams Azodeh is from Grambling, Louisiana and graduated from the Louisiana State School for the Deaf and Delgado Community College. Before joining the staff of Senator Landrieu, she worked for Former Senator J. Bennett Johnston for 8 years. Areas of responsibility include maintaining office files and input data from outgoing mail. Azodeh is a member of the Independent Baptist Church for the Deaf and is on the Church's winning Volleyball Team.

Kristen Granier
Staff Assistant / Tour Coordinator

Kristen Granier joined Senator Landrieu’s staff in May 2010. She is currently a staff assistant and schedules all constituent tours.  Kristen is a native of Brusly, Louisiana and studied International Management at Southeastern Louisiana University.

Sara Pollock
Staff Assistant

Sara Pollock joined the Landrieu Staff in August 2009 and is currently a staff assistant in the front office. She is a Baton Rouge native and graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.A. in Communication Studies.

Charles O. Kelm, Lt Col, USAF
Military Fellow

Maj Charles Kelm joined Senator Landrieu’s team in Jan 2010 as a Military Legislative Fellow. He currently addresses issues related to military and veterans affairs. He received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M; University and his Masters in Business Administration with Honors from Webster University.

T. Bradley Keith
State Director

T. Bradley Keith joined Senator Landrieu's staff following a position as director of communications and public affairs for the Louisiana Health Care Review. During Senator Landrieu's terms as State Treasurer, Keith served as her Assistant State Treasurer for Communications. He has also worked as a newspaper reporter for the Patriot Leader in Quincy, Massachusetts, the News-Star in Monroe, Louisiana, and New Orleans City Business magazine. He attended De La Salle High School in New Orleans and received his bachelor's degree in journalism from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

Celeste L. Fontenelle
Assistant to State Director

Celeste L. Fontenelle, originally from Abbeville, La, joined Senator Landrieu's team in September 2006. She attended Louisiana State University and achieved her BA in Psychology and Sociology with a concentration in Criminology. Prior to joining the staff, Celeste worked as a Resident/Conference Assistant for the Department of Residential Life at Louisiana State University for 3 years.

Jeanne-Marie Ganucheau
Community Liaison

Jeanne-Marie Ganucheau, as community liaison, promotes Senator Landrieu's concepts of smart growth and planning in Louisiana communities as a natural extension of Senator Landrieu's belief that planning is the foundation for strong community development.  Jeanne-Marie earned a master of social work degree from LSU with an emphasis in community organization.  As a clinical social worker, she worked in the health care industry where she developed community outreach programs and worked directly with patients in varied settings.  Her efforts are focused on educating community leaders, coordinating statewide education programs, facilitating relationships between smart growth leaders and linking communities to resources for planning.

Leslie Foster

Regional Manager

A New Orleans native, Leslie M. Foster joined Senator Landrieu's office in January 2007 and currently handles constituent correspondence related to commerce, small business, economic development, trade and housing. Leslie earned her B.A. from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in Political Science. Before joining Senator Landrieu's office, Leslie worked in Governor Blanco's office as Assistant Director of Boards and Commissions, and she also interned in Lieutenant Governor Mitch Landrieu's office. Leslie is a member of the Senate Black Legislative Staff Caucus.

Shannon B. Langlois
Constituent Services Manager

Shannon Langlois spent almost two decades with former Senator J. Bennett Johnston as an office manager and caseworker before bringing her experience to Senator Landrieu's team. She has been with Senator Landrieu since the Senator took office in 1997, and has been an employee of the U.S. Senate for 30 years.

New Orleans Office

LaVerne Saulny
Regional Manager

LaVerne Saulny, a native of Homer, Louisiana, joined Senator Landrieu's team in January 2002. She attended Louisiana State University Shreveport, where she majored in Forensic Psychology and was an Institute of Politics (IOP) Fellow of Loyola University. Prior to joining Senator Landrieu's staff, LaVerne founded "Write For You," a consulting firm that provided management and development consulting to non-profit organizations and corporations. While operating "Write for You," LaVerne wrote two books, Tips on Successful Grantwriting and Steps on How to Run a Profitable Home-based Business, which was featured in Essence Magazine. LaVerne has received numerous awards, including: National Who's Who Among Executive Females, The Power Generation 40 under 40 Top Business and Community Leaders in New Orleans and 1998 Advocacy Woman of the Year. She's an active member of the Greater New Orleans Junior League.

Wes Kungel
Regional Representative

Wes Kungel graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.A. in English and a minor in International Studies. Before joining Senator Landrieu's staff, he worked as a volunteer coordinator and instructor for Adult Literacy Advocates, a Baton Rouge based adult education provider.

Emily Chambers
Constituent Services Representative

Emily Chambers, a native of Slidell, joined Senator Landrieu’s New Orleans team in July 2010. Prior to serving in the New Orleans office, Emily interned in the Senator's Baton Rouge office for 2 years. Emily is a graduate of Louisiana State University where she earned a degree in Political Science, and was a member of Leadership LSU, LSU Ambassadors, and Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.

Sherae M. Hunter
Constituent Services Representative

Sherae M. Hunter, a native of Jackson, MS, earned her bachelor's degree in English from Dillard University in New Orleans. She worked as an intern with the Food and Drug Administration under Mississippi Attorney General Mike Moore, and also worked for two years as an intern on various aspects of Moore's anti-tobacco legislation campaign. With Senator Landrieu's office in New Orleans, Hunter serves as a Constituent Services Representative. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
 

Shreveport Office

Tari T. Bradford
Deputy State Director

Tari Bradford specializes in casework, particularly immigration, IRS and child care cases, as well issues related to economic development, law enforcement, Louisiana Police Jury and the Louisiana Municipal Association. She earned a bachelor's degree in business management and a master's of education in mass communications from Southern University. Bradford, a Shreveport native, previously worked as a staff assistant/caseworker for Senator J. Bennett Johnston and for Shreveport Parks and Recreation as a senior communications specialist. She is an active member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

Le Nelle Williford
Constituent Service Representative

Le Nelle Williford, a Shreveport native, is the "front-line" contact person in Senator Landrieu's Shreveport office. Before joining the team, she spent 12 years in the banking industry and as a city court deputy clerk. Williford is a graduate of Woodlawn High School, business schools and numerous computer classes and seminars.

Lake Charles Office

Mark Herbert
Regional Manager

Mark Herbert, a Ruston native, has 10 years of congressional experience, having worked for U.S. Representative Jerry Huckaby and U.S. Senator John Breaux. Mark has accrued a broad range of experience having served in Washington, DC, Monroe and Baton Rouge.  Mark has also worked for several Louisiana state officials and also the Arkansas Democrat-Gazzette newspaper. Mark is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas with a B.A. in Communications.

Darlene M. Manuel
Constituent Service Representative

Darlene Manuel, a native of Sulphur, Louisiana, specializes in casework. Prior to joining the Landrieu office, she was a secretary for the Calcasieu Parish School Board Infant Toddler Preschool Program, where she worked with families of special needs children. Previously, Manuel was a supervisor for Kelly Services. She attended McNeese State University, where she majored in Office Administration.
