Rangel Report: Embracing the Green Economy

If you would like to receive legislative updates and video like the one below, please sign up for my Rangel Reports here.

Economists believe the green economy will be the economic engine of the 21st century.

The green economy means more than just a call to reduce greenhouse gases that harm our environment.  It builds on environmental principles and technologies that help us use less energy, such as energy-efficient homes and buildings and temperature-control devices.  It also involves the use of cleaner and less expensive forms of energy.

A green economy means we save money, create jobs, and become less dependent on foreign oil.  These savings also allow local governments to provide you more services and resources.

There's a video I would like you to see about "going green."

When the green jobs are created, we will need HR1529 so we can be considered for them.

The green economy means we have to produce many more grass and other tree in the economy. this will help the us country clean and healthy.
