Job Summary

Seeking an applicant to serve as a Software Engineer who assists in analyzing, proposing, and implementing various computer technologies and services; designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements programs and modules. The applicant must possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills in order to analyze technical problems and make enhancements to existing systems.                                                                                                                        

Additionally, it is important that the applicant have a strong background in Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies as this position will require the developer to work closely with the QA team to design, implement and execute automated performance testing scripts. These testing scripts will be used on a variety of Web sites/applications and will be developed using Microsoft VSTS.                          

Other immediate duties include writing performance test plans and designing documents to be reviewed and used by other software engineers and QA staff, as well as provide guidance to more junior engineers.

Requirements:

Three or more years experience in evaluating, programming, and designing computer applications. Experience in developing and running automated performance/load tests using Microsoft VSTS/TFS (or comparable). Strong knowledge and experience with XML, SQL and IIS. Languages preferred are ASP/VB.NET, JavaScript, and Visual C/C++. Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.  A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, and equivalent work experience is preferred.
