Internships and Housing Information

 
We are currently looking for spring semester unpaid interns in both our Washington D.C and Denver offices.  Duties include, but are not limited to, answering phones, sorting mail, attending briefings, drafting constituent correspondence, and providing assistance to staff members.  Applicants must be currently enrolled students and have excellent writing and communications skills.  The Denver office is looking for undergraduate level students, while the D.C. office will consider both undergraduate and graduate level applications.  Colorado ties are preferred.  Interested applicants should email a cover letter, résumé, and brief writing sample to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Congressional Internships provide an opportunity for young people who are interested in the legislative process to work in U.S. Rep. DeGette's Washington, D.C. or Denver offices.  Internships are available throughout the year to undergraduate and graduate students.  Candidates must be willing to commit to working at least three months for a minimum of 20 hours per week in an unpaid position.
