Representative Markey respects your privacy. When you visit this site no personally-identifiable information is collected or stored from you by Rep. Markey's congressional office. For instance, if you visit this site to read or download information, such as press releases, we do not collect and store any information from you.

If you correspond with this congressional office through email, we will obtain your email address as well as any other personal information that you may willingly provide. Rep. Markey does not share or disclose personal information about individuals to any entity outside of the Congressional office with one exception. CONSTITUENT MAIL ALERT

Because of the discovery of toxic ricin powder in a mail room in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, the Capitol Police have placed additional inspections on all incoming mail, resulting in a delay of several days. This includes all overnight and priority mail. In addition, the Capitol Police are requiring that all mail sent to the Washington, D.C. office of Members of the House must be opened prior to delivery to my office.
