U.S. Service Academy Nominations 

High school seniors who want to attend a U.S. Service Academy are required to get a recommendation from a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives or U.S. Senate.

The U.S. Service Academies include:

We are now accepting applications for nominations to the U.S. Service Academies for the 2010-2011 academic year. Applications must be submitted to the address below by November 8, 2010 at 5:00PM CST. Late applications will not be accepted.

To apply for a U.S. Service Academy nomination from Congressman Jackson, you must:

  • Complete the  U.S. Service Academy Application. The application is a word document and will allow you to type your response in the blanks provided. 
     
  • Submit completed form and all required documents via mail or hand delivery to:

  • You will be notified by phone or mail to confirm receipt of your application.
     
  • Applications will be reviewed by a panel of community leaders and residents. If needed, you will be contacted for an interview. The entire application process will be conducted in a timely manner.
     
  • All nominees will be notified by mail prior to the academies' due dates for submissions.
